Alastair has been playing piano and keyboards for more that half a century, and played first violin for the Glasgow Symphony Orchestra many years ago…He has also given classical music recitals in Indonesia, Tunisia, and Colombia.   He now performs regularly as répétiteur and band member for the Harpenden Musical Theatre Company, and has been its President since 2013.  He has also played for several Putteridge Bury G&S Operetta productions in Hitchin. In addition Alastair  is a regular accompanist for  David Crew, Zoe Jasko and Bob Little, giving several concerts throughout the year raising funds for various charities
