Charlotte Derry

Charlotte Derry is noted for having a warm lyrical voice and an engaging performance persona. 
 
Her operatic roles include Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Rusalka (title role),  Guilietta (Les Contes de Hoffman), Vierte Magd/schleptragerin (Elektra), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Second Woman (Die Zauberflöte), Mařenka  (The Bartered Bride), soprano soloist in the Coro di Ragazzi in Linda di Chamounix at the Royal Opera House, conducted by Sir Mark Elder.

 
Charlotte sings regularly as a soloist in oratorio performances. Her most recent concerts include, A Sea Symphony by Vaughan Williams with Whetherby Choral Society and Orchestra, Ein Deutsches Requiem by Brahms with Kingston Orpheus Choir and Missa Angelorum by Rütti at St Martin-in-the-Fields.

Charlotte has a master's degree from the Royal Academy of Music studying with Phil Doghan. Prior the Academy Charlotte studied privately with the late Ameral Gunson and is now learning with Liz Harley.
