Gordon Hodges

Tenor, stage director & choreographer

Gordon started singing when he was very young in his local church choir. He has also trained in many styles of dance.  He attended the Royal Northern College of Music under the tutelage of Peter Wilson. Gordon has performed in many genres of shows, including opera, operetta, Gilbert and Sullivan, musical and pantomime. He especially loves Mozart and previous roles have included Basilio (Marriage of Figaro), Tamino (The Magic Flute) and Remendado (Carmen). He  has a passion for Gilbert and Sullivan having performed many of the lead tenor roles. Gordon is also an experienced and well respected director and choreographer. Following contributing to the stage direction of Felici's production of The Marriage of Figaro, in which he also reprised the role of Basilio, he was thrilled to be both stage director and  Don Ottavio in Felici's autumn 2018 production tour of Don Giovanni.
