Howard has spent a lifetime playing Clarinet and Alto Saxophone In 1995 he started learning the Double Bass and today performs regularly with Letchworth Sinfonia.

 

He has a passion for involvement in all kinds of music and has run his own New Orleans Jazz band and a Wind Quintet. He has been a regular orchestra member for the Putteridge Bury G&S Operetta productions at the Queen Mother Theatre in Hitchin and also with many of the Pirton Players stage shows Oliver, Fiddler on the Roof, Annie, Guys and Dolls, in the Village where he lives. Sometimes needing having to play all three instruments - not at once!
