Laura Valentine - lyric soprano

Laura studied Economics at the University of Warwick but always had a passion for singing and music.  On leaving University she joined the Royal Philharmonia Chorus and sang at some of London's most notable concert venues, as well as abroad. 

 

Since 2010 she has worked with the acclaimed teacher Jacqueline Bremar and currently also receives music coaching from Margaret Johnson.  She has previously worked extensively with music coach Alex Ingram and attended Masterclasses with a diverse range of talented individuals including Jeremy Silver, Carlos Fernandez Aransay, Lesley-Anne Sammons, Chris Cowell, and Andrew Sinclair.

 

In addition to her studies she has performed a variety of operatic roles including Mimi La Boheme, Micaela Carmen, Frasquita, Carmen, 2nd Niece - Peter Grimes.  She has performed a wide variety of classical songs and operatic arias in numerous concerts for charitable causes as well as organising and performing at local music festivals.
