Cheryl Aughton Clark - sopranoher
Cheryl studied Contemporary Arts at Nottingham Trent University and while studying there discovered a love and talent for more classical singing. Whilst studying she also sang with the CBSC under Sir Simon Rattle where she performed Adams Harmonium.
On leaving university she studied with the late Pamela Cook MBE, Brian Parsons, Tony Roden and Sheila Barnes where she honed her technique and completed the Associate Diploma course at LCM.
She has performed a variety of roles including Adele - Die Fledermaus, Dido - Dido and Aeneas, Yum Yum - The Mikado, Frasquita - Carmen, Elsie - The Yeomen of the Guard, Mabel - The Pirates of Penzance, Nettie Fowler - Carousel , Svetlana - Chess and Jenny Lind - Barnum.
When not singing Cheryl is an Events Manager in the not for profit sector and Mum to two small boys.
