Peter Johnson

Felici Director, Technician & Bass

Peter has been singing in choirs since the age of eight. He discovered Gilbert and Sullivan whilst still at School singing Pish Tush in The Mikado. He went on to perform most of the G& S operas whilst a member of Imperial College, where he played many of the minor principal roles, His favourite role has always been the Sergeant of Police in The Pirates of Penzance, which he has reprised many times.  He has subsequently performed with Putteridgebury G & S Society and Pirton Players, including the roles of Sergeant Meryl in Yeoman of the Guard, Roderick in Ruddigore and Mr Bumble in Oliver! He hugely enjoyed performing the role of Antonio in Felici's recent production of The Marriage of Figaro.

No technical problem is too great for Peter to solve and he supports the Felici team hugely with his staging,  lighting and amplifying solutions and his all important his tea-making!
